Strategic Account Executive

Our client, an international leader in providing comprehensive IT management solutions is looking to recruit an experienced and driven candidate who will contribute significantly to its organizational growth as a Strategic Growth Account Executive.


The position is focused on managing the health and growth of their largest and most strategic portfolio of existing customers. The Strategic Growth Account Executive will be responsible for fostering deep executive-level relationships, sourcing new opportunities, creating and communicating strategic account plans, and executing those plans to close new business. The Strategic Growth Account Executive will need to source new opportunities within Strategic accounts by leveraging their relationship to make inroads into Account subsidiaries and new internal business units not currently using the platform.


Responsibilities

  • The Strategic Sales Account Executive is a quota-carrying position

  • Understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level

  • Develop strong executive level relationships within our largest and strategic  existing accounts

  • Map account base against adoption & usage of our platform and develop Strategic Account Plans accordingly

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities for growth within each account and in related organizations (subsidiaries, lines of business, platform capability adoption, etc.)

  • Build and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews to key account stakeholders (Director and C-Level)

  • Strategically manage pipeline and deal closure by directing internal resources to required to close

  • Articulate our value proposition clearly and effectively

  • Understand competitive landscape

  • Have a strong understanding of ITSM and project credibility on IT subject matter

  • Lead customers through an end-to-end sales cycle in collaboration with Pre-Sale Engineers


Requirements

  • 3-5 years of quota-carrying SaaS/B2B software sales experience

  • 2+ years of Enterprise Account (EA) Management or EA sales experience

  • Strong relationship building and organizational hierarchy navigation skills to ensure rapport building with Director and C-Level executives

  • Experience in building strategic account plans

  • Skilled at negotiating business terms with IT, procurement, and senior management teams

  • Track record of over-achieving quotas in previous roles

  • Experience managing and closing:

                  - Complex, 120+ day sales-cycles

                  - Customers within the Upper-Mid to Enterprise market

                  - Prospected Accounts

  • A strong presence on the phone and remote web sessions (Demo/Solution Presentation)

  • Experience working with a CRM

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Enjoys the challenge of working towards and hitting targets

  • Strong listening and presentation skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • High-Level English-Required
