Performance Marketing Campaign Manager (Paid Search & Paid Social)

The Performance Marketing Campaign Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid media platforms.

The primary focus of this role is driving measurable business outcomes through data-driven campaign management while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering against aggressive growth targets.

As a Performance Marketing Campaign Manager, you should be a strategic thinker and hands-on operator. You enjoy analyzing data, uncovering opportunities, testing new approaches, and leveraging the latest AI-powered advertising capabilities. You can balance attention to detail with a deep understanding of broader business goals and customer acquisition strategies.

Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution

End-to-end management of paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant advertising platforms.
Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across:
- Performance Max
- Search
- Demand Gen
- YouTube
- Display
- Shopping
- Meta Advantage+ Shopping & Lead campaigns
- Prospecting and Retargeting campaigns
Develop audience strategies utilizing first-party data, customer lists, GA4 audiences, lookalike audiences, and platform-native audience solutions.
Create testing roadmaps covering creative, audience targeting, landing pages, offers, and conversion optimization.
Partner with design and content teams to develop high-performing ad creative and messaging.
Identify and implement new acquisition opportunities across emerging channels, placements, and campaign types.
Collaborate on landing page optimization and conversion rate improvement initiatives.

Client Management

Manage client relationships, including leading meetings, presenting performance insights, defining action plans, and communicating strategic recommendations.
Translate campaign performance into clear business insights and actionable next steps.
Serve as a trusted advisor on paid media strategy and digital growth opportunities.

Analysis & Optimization

Analyze campaign performance against CPA, ROAS, lead quality, pipeline, and revenue goals.
Leverage AI-powered bidding strategies and automation while maintaining strong performance oversight.
Monitor attribution, conversion tracking, and data quality across advertising and analytics platforms.
Conduct competitive analysis and ongoing market research to identify growth opportunities.
Generate performance reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
Continuously test, learn, and implement new platform features and best practices.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other paid media campaigns.
Native-level English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing campaigns focused on lead generation and/or eCommerce growth.
Strong understanding of:
- Google Ads (Performance Max, Search, Demand Gen, YouTube, Shopping)
- Meta Ads (Advantage+, prospecting, retargeting, lead generation)
Experience working toward defined CPA, ROAS, CPL, or revenue targets.
Familiarity with audience development, remarketing, customer match, lookalike audiences, and first-party data strategies.
Experience using GA4 and conversion tracking to measure campaign performance.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

Google Ads Certification.
Advanced experience with Data Studio.
Experience with Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking implementation.
Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar.
Experience with attribution and marketing measurement tools.
Experience with feed-based advertising and eCommerce platforms.
Familiarity with AI-driven marketing workflows and automation tools.
Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or other CMS platforms.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
Strong copywriting skills and experience developing ad creative concepts.
Experience working within an agency environment.
