DevOps Team Lead

Our client is an awesome service automation company delivering software for organizations that want to get more done. Their SaaS ITSM (IT Service Management) and Asset Management solutions serve more than 4,000 customers across the globe. They do the heavy lifting for IT and anyone delivering services in the digital workspace, by leveraging automation, analytics, and AI.

What you'll do:

• Managing a team of 2-3 DevOps Engineers that implement DevOps infrastructure projects.

• Defining, developing, and maintaining deployment processes for development, testing, and production environments.

• Taking part in a DevOps group that maintains a 24/7 critical production environment in the cloud.

• Assisting the team in developing best practices for CI/CD.

• Developing internal tools for other departments (such as R&D, Automation, QA, Support, Professional Services, and Customer Success).

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps / Infrastructure / Site Reliability Engineer- SRE.

• 4+ professional experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Experience in Linux administration.

• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, and NodeJS.

• Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, Circle CI.

• Experience with MySQL or MariaDB (Experience with Aurora MySQL is a plus).

• Experience with Git.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (like Terraform or Cloudformation).

• Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Jenkins Pipeline.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• B.sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Programming experience in Java.

• Experience with Redis or ElasticSearch.

• Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
