Clinical Data Scientist

Our amazing client is an early-stage deep tech startup at the forefront of digital health, developing a groundbreaking Large Language Model for decoding 100% of the human genome, with the potential to analyze whole genome sequencing data in real-time.
We're seeking a Clinical Data Scientist to transform complex medical and pathological data into actionable insights. This role bridges clinical expertise with data science.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret clinical datasets from diverse sources including EHRs, pathology reports, and genomic data
Design and implement data pipelines using cloud-based platforms (Terra.bio, Seven Bridges, DNAnexus)
Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to translate research questions into analytical frameworks
Ensure data quality and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR)
Required Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
3+ years experience working with clinical/pathological databases (e.g., TCGA, cBioPortal, COSMIC)
Proficiency in Python/R and SQL for large-scale data analysis
Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Terra.bio or similar bioinformatics platforms
Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows
Fluent English mandatory
Knowledge of standardized medical terminologies (SNOMED-CT, ICD-10, LOINC)
Background in pathology informatics or molecular diagnostics
