Our client is revolutionizing DDoS cyber security defense with its patented technology that effectively eliminates one of the top three cyber security threats – DDoS risk.
The role and opportunity
In this role, you will be leading the business development and channel reseller efforts. This is a critical role in the sales organization that significantly affects growth and targets. A unique opportunity to work with global and local leading technological and reseller partners and be part of an innovative start-up that brings new industry standards to the DDoS mitigation space.
You will:
Identify, recruit and on-board new reseller partners within assigned territory
Builds relationships with technology vendors to identify mutual greenfield opportunities with shared BD partners (e.g., mitigation vendors, ISPs)
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned BD partner accounts
Manage resellers to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals
Create a process to quickly on-board and deliver on-going communications and training to reseller partners
Address partner related issues (e.g., sales conflicts, pricing issues) in a timely manner
Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and other companies in the eco-system
Assist in resellers marketing activities such as webinars, campaigns, local events and other promotional activities
Requirements:
Previous experience of driving channel sales ideally within the same product category and channel.
History of successfully developing and leading multiple strategic partnerships
Demonstrated 7 plus years of experience selling high technology B2B products in assigned territory in a channel model
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and our teams
high level of independence and the ability to work in the constantly changing start-up environment.
Bachelor’s Degree / MA in business
English –Native level (written and verbal)
Any one of these is an Advantage:
Experience in Cyber DDoS space
DDoS mitigation marketplace knowledge
Technical degree in Computer Science / background in network architecture
Strong personal network within the industry
