Director of Sales

Our client, a leading tech company that offers peer-to-peer reviews for enterprise software products is looking for their Sales Director to join the team.


They Sell BIG - They're a startup but their customers include IBM, Cisco, HPE, Dell, & VMware.


They are already more than successful - they are a profitable startup that just raised $30M in Round A after having been bootstrapped and cash flow positive for multiple years.


Sales is working, Make it Better - We have multiple specialized sales teams that are already working. Come lead one of those functions, and build the processes + people for scale.


We’re Flexible - Come into the office for 4-5 hours then do your evening hours at your convenience from home. Additional work from home flexibility during COVID.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Training and Call Roleplaying Master - Priority #1 for you is hiring and training reps. We do really well-taking folks with little experience but the right skill set and turning them into top reps. That’s our culture and we expect you to be great at it. You’ll need to spend a lot of your time hiring, training, and doing roleplaying with your team every day.

  • Intelligent and a Fast Learner - We’ve got a strong training program and provide the right tools to get you up to speed but you will be expected to catch on quickly and hit the ground running.

  • System Builder and Natural Teacher - We’re a profitable business with very significant revenue, we know how to position the product well but we need to do more repeatable system building to take that strategy and scale it. You’ll be expected to distill the approach down to an easy-to-understand and actionable playbook for each of the core personas. You’ll also be expected to improve on it over time.

  • Team First Mentality - You want to build something great with us and be part of an All-Star team. This isn’t an individual contributor role, this is full-time management. You live for the success of your people.



Requirements

  • Sales Management Experience - 2+ years sales management experience, ideally in a new-business-focused role.

  • Your performance will be measured based on team KPI performance

  • Work hours include US business hours.

  • Work out of the Modiin office part of the week (flexible) - a 5-minute ride from the train station.

  • English Mother Tongue absolutely required.

  • Potential travel involved (no more than once a quarter)
