Business Development Representative

Our amazing client is a market leader in mid-tier IT Service Management, a space that is being propelled into high growth as businesses worldwide accelerate their digital transformation and start to adopt new workstyles for their employees.


As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and connecting with strategic prospects, promoting the solutions, to generate, motivated, quality leads for the Account Executive teams. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the company’s solutions, market space, and a keen interest in the Enterprise  IT industry.


We are looking for an experienced and energetic, process-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills and a talent for relationship building. The successful candidate will have built deep expertise in accurately capturing and qualifying leads, effectively managing a sales pipeline, and achieving quarterly revenue targets.


The ideal candidate would be a BDR with the potential to pivot quickly into a closing role once they have mastered the product and its commercial landscape.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with state-of-the-art sales automation tools to identify and interact with key prospects.

  • Perform market research to identify, target, and develop prospective accounts and then craft and deploy personalized email campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to build long-term relationships with new accounts.

  • Develop new outbound prospecting strategies, and optimize existing ones.

  • Maintain a high level of activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling.

  • Conduct high-level consultative conversations with mid to C-Level prospects.

  • Prioritize and organize your pipeline for maximum efficiency on a daily basis.

  • Schedule product demonstrations, and collaborate with the sales team to qualify customers, build a pipeline of outbound opportunities, and drive deals.

  • Use the CRM and other software to track progress with new prospects.

  • Meet and exceed your daily, weekly, and monthly activity and revenue goals.


Requirements

  • 2 years experience in B2B sales or lead generation, ideally within the software or IT industry

  • You are super organized, and love being in charge of your own time.

  • You are intellectually curious about all things sales and IT with an intense desire to learn.

  • You have a bias toward action in a fast-paced working environment, and enjoy working independently.

  • You adapt quickly to change and are equipped with a steadfast growth mindset.

  • You are open to coaching, humble, and have an intrinsic enthusiasm to be better than you were yesterday.

  • You are money motivated – uncapped commissions mean your salary can be what you make it.

  • You love talking to new people and are a confident communicator.

  • You are a problem solver; you like to use your knowledge to help people overcome challenges.
