Senior AI Architect (Python)

Our amazing client is an early-stage deep tech startup at the forefront of digital health, that is developing a groundbreaking Large Language Model for decoding 100% of the human genome, with the potential to analyze whole genome sequencing data in real-time.

We're looking for an experienced architect programmer to join our AI team, focusing on developing custom, advanced language understanding and generation systems from the ground up.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience with neural networks and deep learning

• Strong proficiency in Python

• Expertise in designing and implementing AI models from scratch

• Deep understanding of self-attention mechanisms and transformer architectures

• Experience with self-supervised learning techniques

• Ability to architect scalable AI systems for text processing

• Familiarity with popular deep learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop custom AI solutions for language tasks, building models from scratch

• Design and implement novel self-attention modules and neural architectures

• Apply and innovate self-supervised learning approaches to improve model performance

• Optimize custom model efficiency and scalability

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers on model development and integration

• Stay current with the latest research in language AI and neural architectures

Key Focus: This role emphasizes creating proprietary AI models rather than fine-tuning existing open-source solutions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with the entire process of model development, from conceptualization to implementation.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of building successful AI projects from the ground up, particularly those involving text processing, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence.
